The main website for public sector tendering opportunities in Yorkshire and the Humber is the regional Supplier and Contract Management System (SCMS). This is a website designed to give external organisations the opportunity to self-register, and provide details of their business profile to the local authorities and other public sector bodies in the Yorkshire and the Humber region.

The site also facilitates the electronic transfer of documentation in a secure environment in respect of approved list applications, tender submissions etc, as part of an ongoing process of improving and developing trading links between organisations and councils/public sector bodies in the region.

In addition to providing guidance and advice in matters relating to the procurement processes councils currently use, it also gives direct access to a wide variety of forthcoming procurement opportunities and awarded contract data from across the region.
